We’re convinced: telling the stories of God’s love for mankind (both the old stories of Scripture and the right-now stories being written in the lives of His saints) is the best way to pass on our faith to the next generation AND the most compelling way to introduce God to those who don’t yet know Him. In Psalm 78 we discover that telling stories about God’s deeds leads to lasting trust in God’s goodness and power. The world today could use more trust in God. Stories help all of us lay aside our cynicism and skepticism to encounter Yahweh with wonder and imagination.

Though we truly believe that every believer has a story to tell, we also know most people won’t ever write a book, record a podcast, paint a series of watercolors, or compose a song testifying to the presence and work of God. Thankfully, we exist in Christ as a body, each of us doing the work God prepared for us for the blessing of the whole community. The Apostle Paul writes,

In Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
